K. L. Brooks is the Founder and President of Autism 2 Awesome Inc. Mr. Brooks developed the program Autism 2 Awesome: A Father's Love after his personal journey of helping his son recover from autism. A Father's Love is an early intervention health and wellness guide created to educate, empower, inspire and support fathers and families who have children diagnosed with autism. The program encourages fathers to get involved with the treatments and therapies of their children. In addition, Mr. Brooks will discuss the importance of physical play to help our children recover from autism. Also, Mr. Brooks will teach the mothers and families how to "Be First 2 Respond" if they suspect their child has autism. Mr. Brooks has been conducting A Father's Love seminars, workshops and personal consultation over the last 3 years.
Mr. Brooks has been employed with the Department of Justice for over 18 years. He also served as a United States Diplomat in Nicosia, Cyprus. Mr. Brooks recently published his first children book "Daddy and Me". Mr. Brooks earned a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree from Troy State University, Troy Alabama, where he also enjoyed being a member of Troy's 1987 National Championship Football Team.

Autism 2 Awesome, Inc. has partnered with the Autism Resource Foundation and the Phoenix Suns for an event. We will be selling tickets for the Houston Rockets @ Phoenix Suns NBA game on April 11th, 2010. If you would like to join us, tickets will be sold for $34.00 (normally priced $51.75) and may be obtained by mailing a check, made out to Autism Resource Foundation (a non-profit organization), to the following address:
